BlackBerry Messenger coming soon to iOS and Android

--By On June 24, 2013

BlackBerry Messenger is the one of the traditional real-time messaging service like WhatsApp Messenger available in the market. It is one of the most successful services provided on BlackBerry OS. BlackBerry users send messages by BBM even face to face.

BBM is a perfect chatting platform for its users to talk and share over the network. BBM voice allows you to hear a friend's laughter instead of reading their LOLs, and with BBM connected apps, you can chat with BBM friends within your apps. Sound wonderful, right?

Now, the great news is that, BBM is going to be available to all iOS and Android users. In May, BlackBerry announced that BBM would go cross multi-platforms this summer at its annual conference, and the service is totally free. However, BBM will only support iOS 6.0, Android 4.0 and higher.

The CEO of BlackBerry is confident with the new BB OS 10 and to expand BBM to iOS and Android. "The time is definitely right for BBM to become a multi-platform mobile service. BBM has always been one of the most engaging services for BlackBerry customers, enabling them to easily connect while maintaining a valued level of personal privacy. We're excited to offer iOS and Android users the possibility to join the BBM community." But with the Instant Messenger Apps prevailing in the market, how is BBM going to be accepted by the users? Let's wait patiently for it.
