February 24, 2014 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today introduced the Samsung Gear Fit, along with Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014. Gear Fit is the industry's first Curved Super AMOLED Touchscreen Display wearable device.
The Samsung Gear Fit was designed to comfortably contour to consumers' wrists while offering a curved Super AMOLED touchscreen display. And it only weighs 27g. In addition, the wearable device adopted anti allergy materials, with changeable straps in Black, Orange and Mocha Grey, and will let users express their individual style and feel comfortable.
Samsung Gear Fit, which is compatible with 20 types of Galaxy smartphones, allows you to easily control basic functions, such as reject calls with messages, quick reply to messages. With the Heart Rate Sensor, Samsung Gear Fit gives you real time coaching to actively support and motivate you to achieve your fitness goals.
It is reported that Gear Fit and Galaxy S5 will be available globally starting from April 11, however, the price have not been announced.
