When will your Device get Android 4.4 KitKat update?

The Process of sharing Kitkat version is little slow because many of the android devices still covering behind to yet catch up to Android 4.3 Jellybean.

Why KitKat?

This version of android is not offer a large difference and features that every Android user had expected for. The major changes that Kitkat brings are standard messenger, the old status bar is replaced with a transparent white icons, improved phone apps and new full screen mode.


Samsung devices will take a bit extra time for an update to roll out, if you are using any latest Samsung devices like Galaxy S4 or Note 3 then you are the first in line for the update rollout. In actuality an Android 4.4 trial version for both the devices galaxy S4 and Note 3 has already been marked that can be installed if you want. An official rollout is beginning before the month of January is over.


Motorola Moto G is the first android device outside of the Google and Nexus Edition line to get the update. Moto X and Moto G can run on approximately pure Android experience with very little changes to the core. The Moto X will shortly be available from outside of the Americas for sale.


All Sony devices are still waiting for their Android 4.3 update, in the month of December that the update process was departing ahead as intended and was starting to rollout. Sony Experia Z1 comes to the market in the month of February with Android 4.3, and after it will become the first Sony device that supports Android 4.3.


HTC Company is stating that the HTC One will begin seeing the update information after some weeks. HTC One and HTC One Mini, and HTC One Max supposed to start seeing Android 4.4 a little bit between now and the month of February.


LG devices will starts receiving Android 4.4 update in delayed 2013. It was stated that the French market can see the Kitkat 4.4 update before the end of January. LG devices start seeing the KitKat upgrade approximately the same time including: G Pad 8.3, Optimus models, G Flex, among others.


The sharing of KitKat 4.4 is predictable to start in January in China, but the date of update available outside of China, date of other Ascend models such as the Ascend Mate, is still to be determined.


Asus devices are going a small bit backwards on their update agenda, their newer devices. The Padfone A80 Infinity is probable to obtain the update in the first quarter of 2014, the Padfone A86, unable to receive the update awaiting the second quarter of 2014.
